Skyborne, UK

Skyborne’s Airline Pilot Standards Multi-Crew Cooperation Course (APS MCC), which was introduced by EASA to deliver enhanced MCC training to match Airline Pilot Standards, gives pilots a distinct advantage by providing them with the highest standard of pilot training.

The course is available, standalone, for pilots who have completed their CPL and MEIR elsewhere and is a significant part of Skyborne’s flagship EASA Integrated ATPL course.

During the Skyborne APS MCC course, you will undertake advanced swept-wing jet aircraft training using airline Standard Operating Procedures. The regulatory requirement for FSTD training is doubled from 20 hours to 40 hours, when compared to ‘regular’ MCC training.

The course is intended to maximise your employment prospects, by equipping you with the knowledge, skills and attitude required to commence initial type rating training to the standards generally required by a commercial air transport operator.

This three-week course is delivered in state-of-the-art facilities at Skyborne’s training centre at Gloucestershire Airport. The first week is dedicated to learning initial CRM, airline Standard Operating Procedures and fundamental technical training for the Boeing 737 Max aircraft.

Weeks two and three are spent operating a multi-crew environment on the UK’s first Boeing 737 Max FSTD. Some of the most experienced airline instructors in the industry will develop your knowledge and skills during the 40 hours of training, where you will undergo progress tests and a final assessment to establish your suitability to move into type rating training with one of Skyborne’s Partner Airlines.

Included in the APS MCC

28 hours of Theoretical Knowledge Instruction and practical scenario-based training
40 hours (10 days) of simulator training in our brand-new Boeing 737 Max simulator
Personal Study Guide covering normal and non-normal checklist management, Standard Operating Procedures and briefing guidance

Duration

APS MCC typically takes three weeks to complete.
