B737MAX hours and courses

Ethiopian Aviation Academy offers both simulator courses and simulator hours in their B737MAX simulator. The B737MAX Full Flight Simulator is a brand new FlightSafety Level D simulator, qualified to Ethiopian Civil Aviation Authority (ECAA). CAA certificate and approvals available upon request.

Simulator hours, dry or wet lease

The B737MAX Full Flight Simulator can be booked in 4-hours blocks both dry and wet and has an average availability of 12 hours a day. Daily session are often from 0600-1000, 1000-1400, 1400-1800, 1800-2200, 2200-0200 but may vary based on sim training sessions, availability and bookings. In case of Dry lease, the instructor will need 30 min IOS familiarization prior to the first training session. In case of Wet lease, Ethiopian Aviation Academy's highly experienced TRI and or TRE will guide you in your training.

Visa, Travel, Accommodation and Other Formalities

Ethiopian Aviation Academy will send you invitation letter following your meeting of the admission requirements. For candidates who are coming from countries where there are no embassies, Ethiopian Aviation Academy facilitates visa on arrival slips upon receipt of valid passport scanned copies. Visa on arrival process needs up to 3 working days. Applicants may also conveniently opt for an easy e-visa application on the site www.evisa.gov.et

The Aviation Academy has special agreements with renowned international hotels such close to its premises at discounted corporate rates, Please contact us to find out more about hotel arrangements.

Moreover, being based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, we provide the best flight connection from all over the globe to our training hub making us conveniently located to our customers.

Transportation

Very often, during your arrival, you will get a shuttle transfer to your hotel by the hotel transport service. In addition, your day to day transport to and from the training center will be arranged by your training coordinator.

Taxis are also available at an affordable rate. The most preferred ones are Airport Yellow Taxi, Meter Taxis and small Blue taxis. They can be accessed through 10-minute distance at the airport entrance next to the Academy gate. Moreover, they can be reached through a call and text number.
